Silverwood Theme Park 2011

We had a fun filled family day at Silverwood Theme Park this week. Joe is on vacation, so we decided to try out the park with our boys. This is the first time we've taken Gavin & Garrett to Silverwood. Gavin was up for most anything, but Garrett didn't do as many rides he's still a little short for most of them. We headed out early, got there when it opened at 11am. We walked around for a little bit looking at everything, then started some rides. It took about 1/2 waiting for each big ride. We did two water rides and a bunch of kids rides. Then we got some yummy lunch and decided it was time to hit the water park. The boys loved the wave pool the most, it was a lot of fun for mommy too. We tried out the kids splash pad area for a little while too, that one was a little too much like sprinklers so the boys didn't like it as much.....too much in their faces. Gavin did go down a big slide by himself while I waited down below. Then we changed and started heading out around 6pm.....we saw that the big Train ride was just about to leave. So we hurried and boarded the Train and that lasted about 30minutes or so, we got robbed so it took a little longer, hee hee. After the train we were ready to head home, hit McD's on the way, a little cheaper then doing dinner in the park. What a great day with my family, Love all my boys.

This was the Panic Plunge, Yikes.........I don't think so. This is as close as we got to riding this one. Both Joe and I really don't enjoy the big crazy rides, gets us too sick.

This was a cute huge swing ride, Gavin did great, Mommy's tummy got a little twisted on this one.

Funnel Cake time!! This is the biggest reason I wanted to go to Silverwood!! I'm asking the boys what they want on the cake so we can all share.

The bank robber. This guy was huge, almost the tallest guy I've seen, at least over 7feet tall. The guy sitting in front of me said that this guy use to play Basketball in the NBA?? Don't know? I said to him "and now he robs trains for Silverwood", he said "maybe the monies better", yeah right?
