New/Old Boat

This is our new/old boat.  Joe has been looking for a used
fishing boat for a while now.  He found this one on
Craigslist and it all seem to work out in buying it.

Getting the seats put on and this adjusted.

Joe's pretty excited to have his own boat and the ability
to go out on the water when ever he wants.

The boys are really excited to have a boat and hang out with Dad.

Garrett's 5th Birthday Party

I had such a fun time planning Garrett's party this year.
He wanted to do and Angry Birds theme, and there is
so much fun stuff out there for Angry Birds. I made
up some yummy rainbow cupcakes and got some rings online.

The Birthday boy and his balloons.  He likes the yellow
angry bird the best.

Family photo time, we all had our fun Angry Birds t-shirts on.

Crazy Garrett always making us laugh.

I'm turning 5 Mom!!

Garrett and his fun Yellow Angry Birds cake.  A friend of my
sis-in-law Ginger made the cake for us.  Thanks Felina!!

A little bit a silly string goes a long way.

Our game of the day, hanging donuts.  Garrett saw this in a book
and said he wanted to do that for his birthday.

Gavin looking ready to go.

Can't use your hands..... I think Gavin cheated a little.

Oh so messy, but oh so fun.

Showing off all this rings.

Cake time, trying to get the candle lite in the windy park
is always a challenge.

Thanks to Aunt Ginger, we got the money shot.  Make a wish.

Opening his presents.  We had so many friends and family it
was great to spend his special day with so many.

From Grandma Greene!!  Nice.

Garrett opening his awesome Angry Birds hat from Aunt Ginger, Travis,
and Austin.  He loves this hat.

Gavin helping brother put on his Angry Birds fuzzy key chain.

Garrett and all his friends.

My beautiful friend Heather and her sweet baby girl.

The Thomas's, thanks for coming.

And, Yep, that's me, had to try it on.

Camping at Round Lake w/ Grandpa&Grandma Keeney

Garrett in the car heading to the campsite.

Gavin in the car, we are pretty stuffed full of gear.

Daddy/Joe in the drivers seat.

#38 was our site,  starting to set up camp now.

Helping set up the poles for our tent.

Garrett putting in the steaks.

Air mattress up, they look so cute.  Grandma Keeney bought them
a twin mattress, I think they need a full or queen.

The boys were anxious to get to the roasting of the marshmellows.
Before we even had a fire.
Crazy Garrett lite his on fire of course.

This was their secret hideout they made in our campsite.

Grandma Keeney, just hanging out.

Playing a little Uno, this is Garrett saying "Draw Four".

Grandpa finally getting the fire started.

Loved the hat lights for night walks.

Such a cute kid!!

My Gavin bear, silly smile, can't see his eyes.

Getting all tucked into bed.  Garrett ended up on the ground of course.
So the next night we got him all set up on top of the sleeping bag for his bed
in the middle of the two air mattresses.

My little guy still sleeping in!!

Gavin bear right when he woke up.  It was so much fun to share a tent
and wake up next to my boys.

Garrett just chilling waiting for breakfast.

Daddy cooking some yummy bacon and eggs for us.

Pretty good breakfast plate for camping.  Eggs, muffin and fruit.

The two men, having a little coffee and chat.

Time for our hike,  this was a nice morning exercise, about a two mile hike.

Joe, of course, took his fishing pole just in case we got a good spot to cast in.

Some really cool bridges along the way.

The stream under the bridge.

My fishing man, he got some great early morning fishing in.  He
caught about 6 fish!!!

Peek-a-boo,  I thought this would be a cute picture of the boys.

This was a cool totally suspended bridge.

Sandpoint cruise time!!

This is the way to the front of the boat, where just a few passengers
could sit for the cruise.

We all got to sit in the cabin area below, it was nice because it was
pretty hot on the upper deck.

Looking out the windows at all the nice houses.

Some large local birds nesting on the bridge.  Forgot their names?

Time to meet the caption and drive the boat.

What a great smile on my Gavin,  such a fun thing to do with
Grandma and Grandpa.

So cute, the made both boys Honorary Captain's of the Day
and gave them a certificate before we left.

Garrett receiving his certificate.

Lake swimming when we got back from the cruise.

Gavin was having a blast jumping off the dock.

A little Old Maid,  and guess who got stuck with her.....Garrett.

Some more smore's time our last night there.
This is the whole reason I came camping.....the smore's.  :)

Waking up our last morning!!

Heading home with all his treasures.....and great memories.
