Happy Halloween 2010

We had another great Halloween at the Greene's house this year. They always decorate their house up big for Halloween and get a lot of trick-or-treader's. We got there early and enjoyed some cookie decorating and caramel apple making. Then ordered some pizza and waited (impatiently) for it to get dark. The boys were so ready to trick-or-treat, Gavin was Darth Vader and Garrett decided on Ironman. The boys had so much fun runny around with Uncle Travis and Daddy and Austin. The girls (Ginger and I) went to a few houses......enough for me to drop my camera on the cement. Yikes!!! Joe had to push in the lens, but it's still working just a little banged up. Oops! Ginger and I stayed warm in the house and took care of all the trick-or-treader's. We had a great time guys, thanks for the invite.
Decorating cookies.

Gavin as Darth Vader and Austin as "Scream"!

Trying to get a good picture in the dark, not so great but they are all there.

Look mom, this guy just gave me candy, how cool is that!!

Garrett wanted to reach in himself and choose his candy.

Nice family picture, Thanks Ginger!

The boys in there orange, what a bunch of losers! Hee hee

Look at all my loot!! Can't wait to eat some.

Sleepover w/Austin

The boys and I hit the Valley Mall on Friday for a playdate with some of our mommy friends. We had to go by the Build-a-Bear store to fix Gavin's bear, who was starting to come apart in the back. So of course they had a sale on bear costumes, so we picked up a Darth Vader and a Batman. Gavin's going to be Darth Vader for Halloween, how cute is that!!
Then on Saturday the boys had a blast with their cousin Austin who stay over night. We made pumpkin shaped sugar cookies and watched some fun movies. The boys loved the air mattress Joe set up for Austin to sleep on, they bounced on it all the next day too.

Yes, I chilled and let my Gavin make a mess with the flour. He loved playing with the flour more then making the cookies.

Told the boys if they ate all their dinner they could decorate and eat a cookie.

Garrett putting his yummy sprinkles on!

Austin and his finished creation, yum-o.

Time to watch a movie, maybe a little "How to train your Dragon".

Getting ready for bed, two guys just chilling.
And all three watching some TV before bed time. Austin read "Green eggs and ham" to the boys before they went to bed. He's defiantly like a big brother to them. Thanks Austin for coming over.

Gavin's Preschool Black&Orange Party

Gavin's preschool Halloween Party was Thursday, he doesn't have preschool on Fridays. I volunteered in his class and had so much fun with all the kids. I got to meet some of the mom's of Gavin's classmates and it was really nice. The party was Black&Orange, the kids can't wear costumes in public schools? So I got my boys dressed in their colors, Garrett and I went back for the last hour or so for party time. We (parents) all brought a special snack that was either black or orange. Gavin's made a close friend at his school, Andrew, he talks about him all the time. Andrew's dad said that he talks about Gavin all the time too, sooooo cute. I'm so proud of my Gavin doing so well in school. Next year I hope to get Garrett in the same preschool program. It's a little sad and hard to see my boys off to school, staying home these past 5years has been so nice. I am a little scared of what the future holds for me once the kids are in school full time? But I'm going to enjoy my time with them now, and know that everything will work out.
Playing with his buddy Andrew.

Garrett trying to get in on the playing action. He was pretty shy at first, out of his comfort zone.
The kids pair up and just sit and talk to one another. Of course Gavin chose Andrew, and Garrett's trying to get his time in too. He's not use to sharing his brother.

Gavin and Andrew.
Doing a fun story/song.
Washing his hands before helping pass out the snack we brought.

Ms. Deering helping him pass out his Chocolate crackers.

Mommy and her boys!! I found a cute shirt at Old Navy for Halloween this year.

Time to pin the nose on the Jack-o-lantern.

Garrett being silly, getting more comfortable in the class room.

Garrett did so great with the game, let the teacher put the blind fold on and everything!! Yea!!

He didn't quit make it onto the Jack-o-lantern.

Gavin's turn!

Gavin went the other direction as Garrett and they both didn't make it! hee hee

One last song and getting the wiggles out before going home. So much fun, glad mommy could be there. Hoping to volunteer some more over this year, maybe get Garrett more familiar with the class room.
