Saturday Lunch at the Park

What a beautiful Saturday afternoon. We decided to take some lunch to the park and let the boys play. Joe and I picked up some yummy Subway (which we haven't had in forever) and headed to Pavillion park in Liberty Lake. I packed some peanut butter sandwiches for the boys and picked up some cookies at Subway. It was so nice to just lay on the grass in the sun and enjoy watching the boys.
Garrett refuses to ware a lighter jacket, he wants his big winter coat.

Mommy and Gavin!!

"Show me your cookies boys"

Talk to the hand mom!!!

What a great smile on Gavin's face. I love catching these moments.

Daddy and Gavin, what a great picture of the two of them.
The boys had fun playing in there tent, lots of blankets and pillows. Our boys are growing up so fast. They play so well together (most of the time).

Crazy boys always ready to be silly infront of the camera.

Keili Cat

So our oldest kitty cat Keili has been looking kind of sick lately. She has lost a lot of weight and has started to throw up some blood. So we took her to the vet this week where they did blood work and x-rays. The vet saw an inflamed colon and a mass on the x-ray and recommended us to have an ultrasound done to see more what was up. We took her in to get the ultra sound the next day as well as a aspiration (like a biopsy) of the mass. We waited all day the next day (patiently) to find out if it was something we could clear up with medicine or not. We finally got the call around 6:00 that evening that Keili has Lymphoma Cancer. We decided because she is not in any pain that we would put her on some medicine to make her feel better, maybe increase her appetite. The vet said usually after the diagnosis cats will live for about another 30days. Keili has been sick for almost 2months now so we really don't know how long we have with her. She'll spend the rest of her time here at home with us. She was born May of 1997, and has really had a great life. Very sad for the whole family, but mostly for Joe who bought her as a kitten years before we even met. Keili has been Joe's little girl for a very long time. Even when we first started dating Joe let me know that Keili had to approve of me before we could continue dating......funny story! Love ya Keili!!!

Bubbles at Bathtime

So the boys have discovered bubbles for bath time. We put bubbles in Gavin's bath one time when he was younger and he freaked out. So we never try them again. Joe being the fun dad he is, always wanting to show the boys new things. He went out the other day and bought some Transformer bubbles (berry flavor) and the boys have been doing bubble baths all week. Lots of fun making beards and throwing bubbles at each other.

Great smile on my Garrett!!

Family Day Out!!!

We took a fun day out, decided to go to Auntie's Bookstore downtown for Dr. Seuss's Birthday book reading. It was pretty packed, so we sat on the side and just listened. We walked around the bookstore for a little while then decided to hit Rockie Rococo's for some yummy lunch. After lunch we let the boys play on the big red wagon at Riverfront Park, always a blast.
This lady was a lot of fun and very animated.

Garrett always getting in front of the camera for a picture, and then he wants to see it afterwards.

Crazy Gavin turning into a real joker. Patiently waiting for our pizza.

Fun picture on the wall above our booth.

Still waiting, after about 20minutes the waitress came up to us and said they forgot to order our pizza and would we like a refund. Nope, we want pizza, so we'll wait. Three minutes later she brought us a Large instead of a Small......nice!!!

Red wagon time, Garrett was a little unsure at first and had to have Daddy come get him and take him down. But after just a few times down with Dad, he was going on his own.

Mommy and Garrett, I look a little silly, the sun was so bright I was about ready to sneeze.

Gavin doing a great job going up and down by himself.
My cute little Garrett posing for some of mommies many pictures.
