1st Boat Trip

Our first boat trip this summer was a bit cold, but very fun!! Trav & Ginger wanted to take the boat out one last time before they head to California next week. And the boys and I tagged along. We packed some munchies and enjoyed the ride. It's so much fun looking at all the houses on the water. Sorry Trav, you make the face I have to post it!!

Cleaning the Frig!!

So our last raining day, which was just a few days ago I decided to clean out the entire frig..........and then I stuck the kids inside.........is that bad?? Funny stuff. :)

Swimming Day

Finally a nice enough day out to do some swimming. This morning we finished with breakfast and then I noticed we had no type of swimming pool. So the boys and I headed to good old "Wolly World", they wanted this fun pool full of things to do. It's a little small for them but works for now. Wish it was warm enough to go swim in the public pools. Can't believe how big my boys are getting, just a few months and they will both be in school. :) Today was also the first day the boys and I took a bike ride together, down to the river. It was a little difficult to keep track of both of them at the same time I rode my bike, but we did good, got some great exercise.

Father's Day 2011

Father's Day was all about Dad!! A nice breakfast in bed of scrabbled eggs and toast, some juice and coffee. Gavin loves to snuggle with dad in the mornings and this was the best to do it. After letting Dad eat some breakfast, it was present time. I made up a couple fun cards using a online company, Tiny Prints, for both my Dad and Joe. You can put your own family pictures on the cards, lots of fun. Joe got some new sandals for summer and a "seen on TV" BBQ grill brush steam cleaner. Happy Father's Day honey, we love you!!

Joe & Gavin's Seattle Trip

Joe, Gavin and Grandpa Keeney took a quick overnight trip to Seattle for Grandpa's doctor visit there. Joe wanted to have his little buddy with him on the trip, I think they both had a lot of fun just hanging out. It was a lot of driving and Gavin was a little sick during the trip, but all went well. Looks like Joe gave Gavin the camera most of the trip. They stayed the night at one of Joe's friends/co-worker David Hill, thanks for letting them stay with you!!

More Fishing!!!

We had so much fun taking the boys fishing this weekend. We headed back to Silver Lake (by Medical Lake) but the fishing dock was pretty crowded, so we fished from the shore line which was kind of difficult. So we decided to drive to Clear Lake and try there. It was great, nice big dock with benches to sit and fish. The boys both caught a fish there, and Joe caught a fish with his first cast at Silver. Lots of fun, nice to have some great sun to sit by the water! Joe's on vacation this week so we are going to do some more fishing before the weeks end. :)
