Happy Halloween 2009

The boys and I carved pumpkins on Friday to use on Halloween. Gavin was really excited because he saw cousin Austin carve his pumpkin and he wanted to do one. Once I got the tops off I let Gavin scoop out the insides. Well it only took one scoop and he was done.....to slimy mom. So I gutted them both and let the boys color on them. Gavin seems to be drawing the same faces all the time, so I just cut out what he drew.

Halloween Night at the Greene's. Gavin couldn't figure out what he wanted to be, Bumblebee or a Cowboy. So he put them both on, cute!

Austin was snake eyes from G.I. Joe and Gavin of course was Bumblebee.......Garrett was just Garrett, I didn't want to force a costume on him just to have him cry and be unhappy.

Great Family Photo out getting some candy.

Trick-or-Treat time, the boys had a lot of fun running around the neighborhood. Garrett figured out really quick that these people are giving me candy......Wow that's cool.

Look mom a bag full of candy, this holiday is the best.

The Rigby's, Greene's and Keeney's, always have to try and get a picture with all of them.

Pumpkin Carving at Austin's School

We had such a fun time at Cousin Austin's school for some pumpkin carving and game playing. They had some yummy snacks, and great games, bowling and pin the nose on the pumpkin. I brought a few small pumpkins for the boys to decorate with stickers and makers. They did that for a few minutes and then just wanted to play. Gavin had a blast just running around and watching all the other kids carve their pumpkins. And when they did the judging, Gavin just sat on the floor with all the other older kids and interacted with them great....he's growing up. Garrett on the other hand didn't enjoy the big blue guy (Otto from the Spokane Indians/Chiefs? I don't know which one?) he cried and wanted to be held for most of the rest of the evening. Oh well, we all had a great time. Thanks for the invite Greene's!

Austin's winning Pumpkin, he really planned it out and did a great job. His was the only pumpkin to come with so many accessories. Great Job A.

Bowling for candy.........

and it's always nice to know the guy handing out the candy......Uncle Travis!

Pin the nose on the pumpkin, so much fun. Gavin did this multiple times in order to get another piece of candy.

Leaves, Leaves & More Leaves

Time to clean up some leaves, we have the same trees, but every year it seems like there are more and more leaves to pick up. I suited up Gavin (maybe a little too much, I don't know if he needed snow boats?) and we headed outside to help Daddy clean up the leaves. Doesn't he like look adorable with his cool hat and matching sweats.

Gavin is totally posing for this picture, holding out the rake and everything. So cute.

Here comes Daddy with the blower, which is always fun to run from or into.

Doing some fun Halloween crafts that we got at our M&M Halloween Party.

Grandma Greene sent the boys a Halloween card with some fun stickers that they just had to use all at one time. Silly boys!

Annual Mommy&Me Halloween Party

The boys and I had a great time at our Annual Mommy&Me Halloween party. We invited Ginger and Austin to come, I thought Austin would have fun. Gavin dressed up as Bumblebee from "Transformers" and Garrett wore his Batman Cape he wasn't too into putting on a costume. There were tables set up for crafts, and coloring and making cute bags for trick-or-treating. We had a yummy potluck dinner and enjoyed all the costumes, both Adults & Kids. Gavin is defiantly more into Holidays this year, I'm really looking forward to Christmas. We all had a great time, thanks for coming Aunt Ginger and Cousin Austin. :) Mommy and her boys, I found a cute Halloween T-shirt at Old Navy for $3 what a deal.
Garrett's our little pumpkin, he really did great at the party, not needing to stay with me the whole time.

Austin and Gavin giving nice eye contact for Ginger to take a picture.

Doing some coloring and fun stuff at the craft tables.

Trick-or-Treat give me something good to eat. Gavin got a cute Bumblebee matching candy bag for his birthday, he was really excited about putting candy in it.

The boys racing around to get more candy.

Our Boys!

My balloon boy, we had a fun lunch at Rockey Rococo's with a friend of Joe's the other day and the boys took home some red balloons. As you can see Garrett didn't really want to let go of his. How cute is that. This is Gavin and Garrett's new thing, falling asleep on the couch together. Then I have to carry them into there beds.

Big Boy Bed time for Garrett. He's getting really tall and seems to be too long for the crib sometimes. So we set up this small toddler bed that Joe's mom gave us to see if he will sleep on this. I have tried a few nights, but last night was the first night he stayed in it all night long. Yeah!!

Of course Big Brother Gavin was there to show him how it works.

Figuring out how to put a Twin bed, a Toddler bed and a Crib all in one room. I ended up moving the crib by the window and putting the Toddler bed against the wall for some safety from falling.

He's still taking naps in his Crib but I'm really ready to be done with the crib stage. It takes up too much space.

So cute both in there big boy beds.

Getting ready for Halloween, we found this fun Spiderman costume at Goodwill for a $1.99, can't beat that. Gavin is showing off his huge muscles. Garrett is his wing man, back up, as batman.

Garrett says "I want to be the center of attention".

I told Gavin to reach his muscles way up high, how cute.

Garrett's first at home big boy haircut, Daddy does a really nice job. We seem to cut the boys hair pretty short so we don't have to do it as often. So it's a little short.

After bathtime hugs for the brothers, all nice and clean.
