Gavin's Preschool Graduation

So my little Gavin is all grown up, he's a preschool graduate! They did a cute Hawaiian theme for his graduation, so he got to wear a fun shirt. He had been singing his songs all week that they were learning for graduation day. Once we got there it was a whole different story, serious stage fright. He just wanted to sit on Daddy's lap the whole time. Which was difficult for me, I was pretty disappointed at first but got over it quickly. I just wanted him to do the songs on stage that I knew he worked so hard on learning, but what are ya going to do when they don't want to do it? And of course it started to rain pretty good right when the kids where starting there songs, so we all got pretty wet.......sorry to my Dad who got the worst of it. My sister Tonya and her daughter Tiffany came. My Mom&Dad came, and my sis-in-law Ginger came too. Thanks so much to everyone for the love and support for Gavin. He is our special little guy and his Daddy and I love him very much and are very proud of him.

Getting ready to start, Gavin has two teachers.....T. Barbara and T. Grace.

Daddy helping Gavin put on his Aloha gear.

Teacher Grace presenting Gavin with his ABC book that he has been working on all year long.

All his class mates after they got there books.....Gavin's not in the picture because he sat on Daddy's lap the entire time.

A rainy picture of the four of us.

Weekend BBQ

We got invited to a fun celebration BBQ for a friend of ours. Joe met Mike when they worked together at Software Spectrum. Mike met Becky (his wife) when Joe and I were dating. They are celebrating the graduation of Becky, she just completed her Doctorate Degree, which is an amazing accomplishment. Mike made a wonderful speech/toast in honor of his wife persevering through the last few years of trials in there lives. They lost they 2year old son in March of 2008 and have really struggled. But they are an amazing couple and have made it through some tough times, and now have a beautiful baby girl Emily. Congrats to Becky!!! Thanks so much for including us in your special day. Bubbles and lots of outdoor fun.

Emily, cute as a button.

Garrett got to know this little girl, Abigail , played together almost the whole BBQ.

"Show me your cookies kids" Just enjoying sharing a cookie together on the steps.

Becky looking amazing!!
The downstairs gaming zone. Gavin wanted to be part of the big boy fun.

Becky and her Emily.

And right as we were leaving the rain came......and on the way home a Rainbow!!! :)

Lilac Parade

Our Spokane annual Lilac Parade is always a lot of fun. Travis & Ginger took Gavin early in the day for a fun day downtown. So Joe & I took our little Garrett out for a Ron's hamburger and fries before we headed downtown for the Parade. It's so strange to go from two kids to one, there is always something missing. We sure enjoy both our boys they bring different personalities and dynamics to our family. We all had a great time at the parade, and the weather was beautiful, didn't need a jacket until we started to leave. Aunt Ginger and her little G. man. Ginger rarely puts pictures of herself up because she's always taking them.

Daddy and Garrett.......if you notice Garrett's lips, he's actually saying "Cheese".

Ginger and her boys so much fun........and love, she has been there since the beginning for both of them.

My crazy Gavin doing some pretty strange faces for pictures.

Garrett, what a cute kid. He's doing so much better at public events, not sticking to me as much, which is so nice.

Hugs!!!

Great family photo, wish Ginger was in there.

Yes this is my husband, wouldn't just smile........so here ya go Joe you make the face it goes on the blog. Hee hee

So this is the start to the parade, I was looking up to try and get this picture and..............

...........this is what happened, I got pooped on, laughed so hard I was crying. Funny stuff, and I don't think I've ever been pooped on by a bird before. It's good luck, right?

Uncle Trav and Garrett ready to watch some floats and listen to some music.

I love this picture because if you look closely a lot of the girls are totally off the ground at the same time, really cool.

Joe loves all the Veterans that were in the parade, it's his favorite part. Which is surprising because there's a lot of young hot girls in this parade, but Joe likes the old guys.......strange.

A cute pic of my Garrett and I.

This is how Gavin spent the last half of the parade, just wiped out from his fun filled day.

Star Wars, so cool.
