My Poor Little Garrett

So today was not fun for my little Garrett. He has been throwing up since Thursday afternoon and has not keep anything down since then. He started getting worse by Friday night, so this morning I took him into the ER at Sacred Heart Ped's unit. They immediately started him on an IV drip and took some blood to make sure he wasn't too dehydrated. Garrett was such a brave little man, when they took his blood they had to prick him twice on the hand trying to find a good vein. He's never really been this sick, so this was all new to him. Took about 4hours from start to finish at the Hospital, so Mom's Saturday didn't turn out to great. He drank some apple juice before we left and keep it down. He had some animal crackers once we got home and some more juice and was off to bed, tired little guy. So we're hoping he's feeling better tomorrow and we can get some yard work done. All this rain makes me feel like we live in Seattle or something, come on let's get this Spring going already!!

Mommy & Her Boys

So often, time goes by and I forget to take fun pictures of me and the boys. I want the boys to look back at not only them growing up, but mommy changing too. If all the pictures were of just them, they would ask "where were you mom?"

Fun with Cousin's

Cousin Austin came over to visit for a little bit while my Brother and Sister In-Law had a parent teacher conference. The boys made a great Lego castle together and before they destroyed it, which boys do so well, I got a pic. Austin was feeling a little under the weather and barely had a voice, but he still had fun with his Cousin Gavin. Thanks for coming over Austin, hope your feeling better soon.

Like Father, Like Son!!!!

This was so cute, one morning......which is using afternoon for Joe because he works nights. Gavin and Daddy decided to have some Coffee/Hot Coco and read there favorite magazines. So I had to capture the moment with a fun pic.

Garrett's Having A Snack

Garrett is so cute, he loves to have his snack up on the kitchen counter. Gavin use to do this too, now they are both getting a little too big. Garrett is huge for his age, I can't wait to see how big he'll be when he grows up. I remember all my brothers just towering over my Mom growing up and my Mom saying, "be gently with your Mother!" Now I guess it's my turn, I'm going to have some pretty big boys some day.

Dinner with Friends.

We had a great time at the Taylor's house for. The kids had a great time playing, and Gavin got a taste of what girl toys are all about. Joe works with Matt and Jolene and I are friends through our Mommy&Me group. Here are some fun pictures of the kids playing together. Ready for Spring!!!!!!!!!!

So I'm defiantly ready for Spring, we have been couped up in the house for too long. We get out once in awhile for fun playdates, but I'm ready to get out to the Parks. Take some long walks and enjoy the sunshine. This winter has been tough on us (me mostly) just too much snow that really hasn't all melted yet. Our backyard still has a lot of snow left to melt. I'm ready to fix up the yard and the lawn and get back to living. I mean come on, we still have our outside Christmas lights up, it's March for goodness sack! Just a shot out to all others frustrated with the winter months, I hear ya!! :)

Garrett is a Big Boy!

Garrett just loves to eat at the table with no buster seat, just like his brother. He is growing up way too fast, way faster then Gavin did. Everything seemed to go in slow motion with Gavin. Garrett is a totally different story, it really feels like just yesterday I brought Garrett home from the hospital. Now look at him, he's wearing 2-3T clothes, him and Gavin will be wearing the same size this summer for sure.

Gavin continues to love being Superheros, this week was all about Superman. These are some fun pictures of Gavin right after his bath, he looks so handsome. I couldn't pass up a photo moment. It seems like some of the greatest pictures of my boys is right after bath, when they are all nice and shiny.

Garrett has figured out how to use any and every possible thing to make him taller, like he isn't tall enough already. He is in the 99% for his height and is only about a half of a head shorter then Gavin. He is defiantly my wild child, he is into everything, can't look away for a minute. It's crazy how different two children can be.

Computer Fun Time

Both the boys just love when Daddy lets them play with Big Boy stuff. Joe loves to tinker around with computers all the time, figure out new ways to do things. So he set up an old notepad comupter and let the kids have at it!

Just hanging out at Home!!

Gavin and Garrett have both been a little under the weather this past week. Gavin had been coughing for over two weeks, so we took a trip to the doctors. He put him on some Antibiotics and said it was probably a sinus infection. So Gavin's been dealing with taking the pink medicine twice a day "not the pink one" he says every time it's time to take it. Brave little guy, he was coughing so much the veins in the back of his throat were red and irritated. Here's some fun pictures of the boys just hanging out at home.

Playdate!!!

The boys and I went to a playdate today at Northtown Mall, and I got all fixed up, as much as the boys let me. So Gavin took some fun pictures of me (who just recently got her hair done/colored). Gavin does such a great job taking pictures, maybe he'll be a photographer when he grows up. We headed out to the Mall and had a fun time playing with the other kids from my Mommy&Me group. And of course Gavin wanted to be Superman today, so he wore his PJ's to the Mall, fun for mom! Happy Friday Everyone!!!

Brotherly Love!!!

I can't believe how great Gavin and Garrett get along together! Don't get me wrong they do have their moments, but for the most part they get along great. And just recently Garrett is really loving giving his brother great big hugs!! Now if that doesn't melt a Mother's heart, I don't know what would. And of course, it's Batman and I-Jones together again.

Indiana Jones!

So it's all about Indiana Jones at our house lately. Joe got a fun hat and whip for Gavin and he just loves running around the house saying "I'm I-Jones" so cute. Garrett has also gotten in the the I-Jones craze, and looks great in the hat. I can't believe how fast our boys have grown. It really does happen in a blink of an eye. Both Joe and I are having a lot of fun with the boys, now that their older we can do more things together.

Just a few more fun pictures of my adorable Garrett. His personality is really starting to come out, and he's a joy to have in our Family. He loves to get dirty (even though it drives mom crazy) and he loves playing with his brother Gavin. Just recently if I'm not around or if he doesn't want Mom for comfort, he'll go and get a great big hug and kiss from his brother to make him happy.
