Newman Lake Fishing

We tried out Newman Lake for some night fishing the other day. It was really fun, I caught around 6 or 7 fish. Of course they were all pretty small, I got a few bigger ones, but bigger for me is still pretty small. We met a nice Canadian guy who was passing through Spokane on his way to DC. He had three small boys and all the boys played together while we fished. Joe was trying for the bigger fish, using some larger rubber worm bait. It was beautiful on the dock, watching the sun set.

Catching one of my first fish.

Some friends on the dock with us.

This duck hung around us the whole time.

More fish!!

Reeling in a bigger one, put up a bit of a fight.

Gavin kept keeping score, Mommy has 4 points.....for 4fish caught. Cute kid.
