Christmas Eve 2011

Christmas Eve at the Keeney's!!! Trav, Ginger and Austin came over for our annual Christmas Eve dinner. I made up some Lasagna, with salad and french bread. And of course lots of goody desserts too. The boys were so excited to hang out with cousin Austin. They defiantly act more like brothers then cousins. Austin was so gracious this year, he bought both boys gifts with his own money. He got Gavin a fun Lego wreath that he had really wanted a while ago. Austin got Garrett some hot wheel cars and both boys got gum. So thoughtful of Austin, thanks bud!! All the boys got to open one present from his parents as well. Gavin & Garrett got Pj's of course, it's tradition. And I threw in a Lego Board game as well for both boys. Austin picked a gift from home and took it to our house. He got three really cool Skull mugs. We also got Austin a fun X-mas Eve gift to open, Angry Birds stuff animal and some Legos. Lots of fun was had by all!! Thanks for another great X-mas Eve guys.

Silly Garrett, when he was opening Austin's gift he was saying "I wanted those". :)

Nice good brother hug.......I think? Gavin looks a little too serious. Bed time now, so Santa will come.

Coeur D' Alene Lights & Dessert

We took a fun trip to Coeur D'Alene to shop, eat and look at lights. On Friday we headed out early, 3:30 or so and shopped around town for a few hours. Got some dinner (Subway) and then went over to the Resort "Dockside" restaurant for dessert. Travis, Ginger and Austin met us at the Resort to look at lights and enjoy some yummy treats. This was a fun Comic Book store with all sorts of super hero stuff and Legos. The owner was so nice, he let us buy a few lego guys from his personal collection for the boys.

Cookie Exchange

The boys and I went to a friends house this week to exchange cookies. Thanks Juli for hosting. We have done it in years past too, and it's really nice. We all make a dozen cookies per person and then swap them. So our cookie plates are full of all kinds. All the kids played and munched on lots of snacks, of course. While us ladies got to chat and enjoy each other's company. I even got to hold my friend Heather's new baby girl. I guess that's the only way I'll have a girl, if I steal my friends.

I think I look pretty good holding Pink!! :) Thanks Heather for sharing.

Me and my girls! Of course the picture is taken from a below shot, Gavin took this one. :)

Garrett's School Christmas Party

I had so much going to both my boys School Holiday parties this week. I went to Gavin's on Tuesday and totally forgot my camera. Wednesday's was Garrett's party, he also got to give his teacher a fun Christmas gift. Lots of fun for all the kids, we made Latke's (Potato patties) and exchanged books. Garrett giving his Teacher (Mrs. DeCoff) her present.

She loves opening them with the child and having them explain what it all is.

She was pretty excited about the picture card.

And yum-o Peppermint brownie mix.
