Tooth Fairy Pillow

I wanted to make a Tooth Fairy pillow for Gavin, he seems to be getting closer to losing his first tooth. I wanted to be prepared, so I thought about the pillow I use to have. This was my pillow growing up, I still had the Tooth Saver treasure chest in the pocket. So it has now been passed on to Gavin. The pillow didn't work out the way I thought, seemed to be a little too small. But for my first pillow ever, I did pretty good. I may try making another one a little bigger. I told Gavin the story of when you lose a tooth you put it in the treasure chest in the pocket of your pillow and during the night the Tooth Fairy will come and take the tooth and give you money! He loved that!!!
Made the pocket out of Denim.

Fun with my Boys!

The boys and I had fun making some vests out of paper bags the other day. I got this great book from my class "Ready for Kindergarten" it's full of fun things to do with the kids. On rainy and snowy days I'm hoping to give this book a lot of use. The boys had so much decorating them and then wearing them around the house. I got them on video pretending that they were Ghostbusters chasing slimmer around the house, great stuff.
Took two paper bags and cut a hole in the top for their head and two holes on the side for their arms.
Gavin is so much better and sitting and doing tasks for a longer period of time. Preschool has really helped out with that.

Garrett decorating his vest, he has a lot of fun with paint.

What a couple of cute boys......I told them to show me your arms. Gavin's hiding one of his?

Chief's Hockey Game

We had a chance to get a few cheap Chief's tickets through cousin Austin's school. So we all went to the game and had a great time. The Chief's lost but that's ok, we still had fun. Gavin and Garrett really got into cheering "Go Chief's Go" and clapping. Thanks again for the invite Travis & Ginger & Austin.

Pumpkin Carving @ Austin's School

Gavin is defiantly my kid, he did not like the smell of the icky pumpkins at all. I told him I wanted to take a few pictures and then I would gut out his pumpkin. Garrett did ok, he took a few pumpkin seeds out and then was done. We went to the 2nd annual Pumpkin Carving night at my nephew's school, the boys had a blast. We carved up our pumpkins and did some bowling and coloring. Austin did a great job with his "Nightmare before Christmas" Jack pumpkin. It was a lot of fun, thanks for the invite Greene's.
