Dr. Seuss Birthday Party Night

The boys and I had a blast a Dr. Seuss's Birthday Party celebration at Gavin's school on Thursday. They had to play at least 7games and get it marked off on a ticket to get Cake!! They did some bowling and fishing, a little Cat in the Hat making and so much more. It was only one hour long which is pretty crazy for how much work goes into putting it on. It felt a little rushed but we still had a great time.

Garrett and Gavin doing the Book Walk, after winning the kids got to choose a brand new book.

Gavin won and chose to new "Lorax" book by Dr. Seuss. :)

Making their hats.

Brothers.....love these guys so much!!

Fishing for some toys.

They got these fun lip mouth toys that when you blow it, it makes a fun whistle sound.

So mad this photo didn't come out (I take terrible pictures) This is the boys with Gavin's teacher Mrs. Sealey.

Gluing his picture on Dr. Seuss's Birthday Card...........

..........and he wrote his name so great I had to take a picture of it.

Gavin's autograph!!

Now Garrett hasn't been writing his "a" and "e" lower case ever since he started writing his name in Preschool. But this time he did all by himself, had to get another photo. :)

Playing rhyming Bingo!!!

Finally Cake Time!!! They had so much cake, a fellow mom from Garrett's class was helping serving it and she said they bought 10 full size sheet cakes!! Yikes that's a lot of cake.

A little Pin the Egg on the Plate!! How cute.

Gavin did great but his Egg was upside down!! Hee hee

And of course a photo with the Cat in the Hat (AKA The principle of Trentwood)
Garrett wasn't too excited about being next to this strange lady but I got a small smile out of him.

Spokane Gymnastics

The boys had a week off from school for Mid-Winter break so we did a few fun things to pass the time. We checked out the Spokane Gymnastics place in the Valley. We had been there once before but when the boys were much younger. They both had a blast playing with their friends and being crazy. Lots of jumping and rolling and flying into foam pits!!! What more could two boys ask for. :) I had a great time chatting with my fellow mommy friends, thanks for a fun afternoon ladies.

Sky High

I bought a Groupon in Dec. for this cool place called Sky High. It's full of trampolines and lots of fun stuff for the kiddos. I met up with our friends Lisa & Connor for a hour of jump time. Lisa wanted to jump too so there's a few photos of her!! The boys had a blast and were pretty wiped out by the end of the hour.

Garrett in the blue shirt getting some air.

All three boys, Garrett in blue, Gavin in black and Connor in red.

The boys really liked this one, the foam pit!!

Gavin was trying so hard to do some of the tricks the big kids were doing.

Had to put one in of Lisa, she had a fun time jumping with the kids.

Garrett throwing the ball to Gavin.

Taking a quick water break, this kid is sweaty!!

Bowling with Friends

The boys and I had such a fun time bowling with friends this weekend. Garrett and Gavin had a blast, as they get older they enjoy things so much more.

Gavin got a strike!!!

Valentine's Day

What a great fun filled Valentine's Day with my boys. They woke up to some gift bags full of goodies, from new Pj's to candy and activities. Then we made heart shaped pancakes for breakfast and enjoyed our morning. For their school classes I had the opportunity to go to both. Gavin's was first at 12:45 to 1:45, then Garrett's was the last hour of his day 2:15 to 3:00. I'm really feeling blessed to have this time with them while they are young and doing school parties. I think I see the time coming soon that they will be in school full time and I'll be able to go back to work. Just really enjoying my time while it lasts. :)

My silly Garrett getting ready to cut out his heart pancake.

Gavin's turn.

Turned out pretty good. The cookie cutter wasn't very sharp.

Gavin's school party. In this picture he was sorting colors and graphing to practice counting, they used candy hearts of course.
Handing out his Valentine's cards to all his classmates.
Ninjago puzzles!!
We did yummy Ice Cream sundae's with all the toppings.

Time to look at all his goodies/Valentine's

Mommy and Gavin, love being with him on his special days.

Garrett's turn for his party. Heart shaped jello gigglers always fun. Red fruit and decorating their own Valentine with graham crackers and frosting.

Mommy and Garrett, what a great smile my baby boy has.

Decorating his edible Valentine

They have been learning a Valentine's song for awhile now. They were signing it to us, so very cute.

Looking at all his Valentine's.

Pirates!!! Fun new Pj's for bedtime.

Brothers!!!

Garrett brought this home from his preschool class, made me cry. Wish my boys didn't have to grow up.
