Easter Sunday 2011

Easter morning at the Keeney's household!! So much fun this year, boys are getting older and are into the holidays more. We got Garrett a big boy bike this year and a spiderman helmet. Both boys got new bath towels, a puppy and a monkey, soooo cute.

Gavin's loot!! He really wanted a nerf shot gun, Happy Easter!!

So excited seeing all their stuff for the first time.

Our kitty cat Whiskers was wondering what was under the blanket too!!

Garrett peeks under the blanket.........then sticks his head out and just says, with big eyes, there's a bike under there? So much fun to see his face.

M&M holders with Star Wars guys on top.

Other basket goodies.

Gavin got a Star Wars lego kit, and of course right away he wants to put it together. I think he was a little too excited to sit and do it so he asked Daddy to finish it for him, thanks Daddy.

Mommy's Birthday

I had such a great Birthday this year. Really felt loved!! Joe got me a surprise massage at the "Brick House", which was amazing, so nice to spend some time on myself and relax. The boys helped Joe with a music CD, card and cake! Thanks to Travis & Ginger for watching the boys overnight so Joe and I could go out to dinner "Red Lobster", yummy (at least for me)! Got lots of love from my wonderful sisters and friends. Thanks so much Lisa, Heather for the Birthday wishes, it was like I had my Birthday for weeks (Lisa) Hee hee. The boys and their spiked hair, a new fade in our house.

Brotherly love!

Gavin giving Mommy her present.

Card.........

"Sara Evans" new CD. Thanks guys.

Gavin putting the candles on my cake.

Time to blow out the candles, at least the cake was too small to put the real amount of candles needed for my actual age!!

Thanks for the help Gavin.

Garrett just woke up from a nap so we had to do the candle lighting and blowing with him too!

Thanks Garrett, mommy loves you. Thanks for a great Birthday everyone.

Sewing

I finally got around to a few sewing projects that I had since Christmas, Yikes. Got some fun Toy Story fabric for Christmas and decided to make a tie fleece blanket for the boys. This was the first one I've ever done so it was a learning process. I might try a bigger one next time. I also had some batman fabric to make up another pillow case for Gavin and got that all done too. I'm still not really into sewing all the time but once in awhile is kind of fun.

Gavin showing off the new blanket, and of course Garrett wanted to be in the picture too.

Gavin and Daddy decided to make up Gavin's hair spiky the other day. Gavin wanted to use the mouse and hair stray that daddy uses in his hair. Silly boys.

Our little mini Joe, he is looking more and more like Joe everyday, if that's possible.

Homemade Pizza

Joe's friend from work, kindly brought us some homemade pizza dough today. So we had fun rolling it and putting toppings on together. Garrett instantly got flour on his face and eye, silly kid. We added chicken, green & red peppers, some mushrooms and onions, a few seasonings and cheese of course, so yummy.

Daddy helping out!
Gavin being crazy as usual. Garrett spreading the sauce on.

Toppings all on, ready for the oven.
