Chuck E' Cheese.....Rainy Day

What better thing to do on a rainy day but take the kids to Chuck E' Cheese. Gavin was sick last week when he was suppose to go to CC for a B-day party so I promised him we would go on his days off from school this week. We invited our fellow mommy friends and their kiddos! Lisa and Connor driving the race cars! Connor is still wearing his cast from breaking his leg at the park a few weeks ago, but had a great time playing games.

My boys found the jack pot machine that gives out the most tickets......toy time!!
Gavin's cool new "Peace" sweatshirt we got at The Children's Place spring sale. He's worn it everyday all day since we got it.
Garrett getting a turn at the race cars. He was pretty grumpy today and cried a lot and wanted to go home..........but we stayed for two hours and got through the tears.
Brought the kids some of our Cupcake Wars, cupcakes.........so I won't eat them all.
Sophia giving Mom her mean stare, Mom was trying to steel a bit of her cupcake and Sophia wasn't having it!
Just the cutest little girl ever.
Gavin diving into a yummy orange cupcake.
Connor enjoying his cupcake!
Some fun pictures of the boys from the machines!
Ahh Brothers!!

Cupcake Wars

The boys and I had some fun this week pretending to do "Cupcake Wars". We watch the show on TV all the time as a family and love it. Four bakers battle for a chance to make #1000 cupcakes for a specific event, and there are three judges who get to eat them all. So Gavin got this great idea that he wanted to do Cupcake Wars at home. But he didn't want to do the baking, he wanted to be the judge and eat them. He's a smart kid. So we headed to Michael's and got some fun frosting tips and bags to decorate our cupcakes. We put some gummy worms on top and made a few with orange frosting for Gavin's favorite color. Testing out the end product.

We told the boys to judge the cupcakes by giving either a thumbs up, middle or down!! Garrett's got his thumb down, but he didn't even take a bit yet............next picture!
......there we go, two thumbs up!!
Oh no is he changing his vote to middle??
Just had fun with the frosting bags, I've never used them before, kind of fun & messy.

Aidan's 3rd B-day Party

The boys and I had so much fun at our friend Aidan's 3rd Birthday party this last weekend. We got to go to Savageland pizza for food, fun & friends. The boys had a blast and enjoyed watching Aidan open all his boy gifts. Thanks Ashley for the invite. :) Hope your little guy had a great birthday. Play area!

Austin's Pinewood Derby

My nephew Austin's cub scout Pinewood Derby car race was this weekend. Our boys (Gavin & Garrett) made their own cars this year to enter into the family races. They had such a fun time, they listened for their names to be called then they got to go up front and place their cars on the track. The boy scouts were selling hot dogs, chips and pop, the boys enjoyed a few bags of chips during the two hours we were there. Uncle Travis and Austin checking in the cars and weighing them.
Aunt Ginger on the other side of the table getting cars numbers on and names picked out for the young ones cars.

Our silly boys showing off there "licence's" to race their cars, so cute.

I'm licenced to drive/race now!!

Austin lost a tooth this day and I was trying to get him to point to it. He was pretty excited about the tooth fairy coming to visit. Somehow the tooth feel off the kitchen counter and broke into two pieces, so he was concerned about fitting both pieces in his tooth fairy pillow pocket. :)

A picture of a video taker!

Garrett and Gavin's cars. Garrett's is the red one with Pirate stickers, and Gavin's is the orange with Transformer stickers.

#32 car is Austin's derby car for this year, pretty cool with a guy in it and steering wheel.

Some of the crazy cars that people came up with.

Lego car.

The Trophy's.

Garrett's first race, getting ready to put his car on the track.

All the boys who had their cars in the race (#4 at a time) got to sit at the end of the track to watch. So much fun for my little guys.

Gavin's turn!

Love the excitement on Garrett's face.

Each boy got to race his car 4times.
