Austin's Pinewood Derby

My nephew Austin's cub scout Pinewood Derby car race was this weekend. Our boys (Gavin & Garrett) made their own cars this year to enter into the family races. They had such a fun time, they listened for their names to be called then they got to go up front and place their cars on the track. The boy scouts were selling hot dogs, chips and pop, the boys enjoyed a few bags of chips during the two hours we were there. Uncle Travis and Austin checking in the cars and weighing them.
Aunt Ginger on the other side of the table getting cars numbers on and names picked out for the young ones cars.

Our silly boys showing off there "licence's" to race their cars, so cute.

I'm licenced to drive/race now!!

Austin lost a tooth this day and I was trying to get him to point to it. He was pretty excited about the tooth fairy coming to visit. Somehow the tooth feel off the kitchen counter and broke into two pieces, so he was concerned about fitting both pieces in his tooth fairy pillow pocket. :)

A picture of a video taker!

Garrett and Gavin's cars. Garrett's is the red one with Pirate stickers, and Gavin's is the orange with Transformer stickers.

#32 car is Austin's derby car for this year, pretty cool with a guy in it and steering wheel.

Some of the crazy cars that people came up with.

Lego car.

The Trophy's.

Garrett's first race, getting ready to put his car on the track.

All the boys who had their cars in the race (#4 at a time) got to sit at the end of the track to watch. So much fun for my little guys.

Gavin's turn!

Love the excitement on Garrett's face.

Each boy got to race his car 4times.

Gavin waiting for his opponents to join him.

Go, go, go car!! Gavin had a blast watching his car.
Fun picture of Mom&Dad taken by Gavin.

Ahh, my boys, so cute........all of them.

Austin getting his place certificate.
