Junior Security Police

Joe brought out his JSP (Junior Security Police) outfit from when he was little (about 8-10 years old). Gavin just had to try it on and look like Daddy, sooo cute. The hat is a little big but the shirt almost fits and it's a size 8. Joe sure loves to share childhood toys and memories with the boys.

Turkey Craft Playdate

I had a fun playdate at our house today. I found a cute paper plate turkey in my Preschoolers busy book to do. Invited a few fellow mommies and their kiddos for some turkey fun. I sure value the friendships I've made through the years of being a mom. Having close mommy friends to talk to about all sorts of things is a great thing to have.........priceless!! Gavin, Jordyn, Kennedy and Garrett.
Garrett putting his turkey head on.

Kennedy getting closer to being done with her turkey.

Gavin getting the feet glued on.

Nice cheesy smile from my Garrett.

Jordyn giving me a smile with her turkey.

All the kids played so well together. Gavin really likes playing with Jordyn, they have known each other for years.

Snack time, I made some yummy chocolate chip muffins!! Thanks for coming over all, we had a great time........and Happy Thanksgiving.

First Snow Fun

Well we woke up to some snow this morning, first snow fall of the year. The boys ran out of their bedroom and straight to the window this morning. They started yelling "It's snow" "Is it Christmas time?" Garrett just said "Snow, Yes, yes, yes", how cute is that. We had to wait until at least after breakfast before we could go out.....too cold. But as soon as Gavin saw the neighbors out making their snowman he had to go. We spent about an hour outside and the boys had a blast. So much fun to be young again through my boys. Getting their first snow balls all made up.
A very small sad snowman full of leaves, but we did it.

Gavin catching a snowflake!

Garrett's turn to try out a snowflake on the tongue.

A good old fashion snow ball fight between brothers.
Funny face from Gavin.

Garrett show me your gloves!

Shoveling what ever they could, even if it's on the grass.

Oh Gavin, typical big brother.

Garrett trying to get enough to get Gavin back. Happy First Snow everyone.

Another Pillow Case

Well I'm still slowly doing some fun pillow cases for the boys. This one is for Garrett, he loves the Space Ranger from Toy Story. It's been a little challenging figuring a few things out on my sewing machine, but I'm learning. Don't know what my next project will be, but that's the fun part. I do have some Batman material to make Gavin another pillow case soon.

Misc Pictures

Just some fun silly pictures of our boys. Austin came over the other day while the boys were hunting and had fun with the kids car track set. And of course Gavin wants to go hunting with Daddy and Grandpa someday so he is getting ready for that.

So silly, Gavin got on all his camo stuff the other day and was pretending to hunt deer. He's excited to go one day.

Grandpa Keeney's #60 Birthday Lunch

Grandpa Keeney turned 60 on the 7th of Nov. So we all took a trip to the Airway Heights casino buffet for some lunch. Grandpa loves seeing the boys and talking with them. We had a yummy lunch and then headed over to new Walmart so Gavin could buy a toy with the money Grandma gave him. She seems to hand out money to the boys when we are together, I guess it's a Grandma thing. :)

Bad picture, but Joe and his Dad.

Getting everyone eating.

Gavin sharing Grandpa's vanilla ice cream, both Gavin and Grandpa's favorite.

They had a fun chocolate fountain there, so Joe got the boys some chocolate covered strawberries!
"Huh, Gavin you got a little something on your nose". Hee hee

One last picture before we left.
