Game Night/Playing with the Wii

I'm a few weeks late on this post, life has gotten crazy. Both the boys were sick for about two weeks. But we are all better now and getting back in our routine. Joe decided he wanted to try out the Wii gaming system. So he did some trading and got a really great deal on a Wii, controller and a few games. We had a blast trying it out the other day. We had some friends over for a pizza/game night, and of course my sis-in-law and bro came over too.
Austin really liked playing the Wii, he was cooking in this picture.....stirring up the pot of food.

Mike and Becky, and their adorable Emily came over for some pizza and games. We really had a nice time.

Baby Emily, growing up so fast.

The Greene's camped out on our couch............like always.........eating our brownies, or at least Travis was. We love you guys!!!!!!!

The Boys get Bunk Beds!!!!!!

We got the boys some fun new bunk beds. We were going to wait until we got our taxes back this year, but we found a great deal at Northwest Bedding for some nice wooden bunk beds. We got Garrett a new twin mattress and everything we needed to set up the beds. The boys had a blast jumping on the mattress before we put it up.
"Look at me Dad, I'm flying", mid-air Gavin jump.

Helping Daddy out with putting the beds together. So much fun to use Daddy's power tools, with supervision of course.

Such a big helper, putting all the boards down for us.

We are almost done, and getting really excited.

Gavin gets the top bunk, surprise, surprise!! He looks so big up there.

All done!! They look so nice, really happy with how much we paid for them too. Yeah!!!!!!!

This was how Garrett spent the entire time that we were putting the beds together. Notice his protection stays with him while he sleeps, cute.

Gavin and Garrett up on the top bunk for the 1st time.

Silly Boys!!

They really like to get on the top bunk and read books. Happy Bunk Beds Boys, we love you!!

Connor's 3rd Birthday

One of my closest friends (that I met through my Mommy group) her son Connor turned 3. We went to their place for a fun Train party, as Connor loves trains. Lisa (Connor's mom) made fun hats and had Thomas coloring pages for all the kids. She made a really cute Train cake. We had a really nice time, thanks Lisa for the invite.
The kids checking out the fish tank.

The cute Train Cake!! Very yummy too.

So cute, little Sophia hiding behind her mom.

Gavin and the birthday boy playing with letters.

This is so cute, Connor was suppose to wear. But do kids ever wear what you want them too.

A Night Out!!!

Yeah, a night out. Joe and I try and celebrate our friend Gunner's birthday every year. This year we went to Outback's for dinner with a great bunch of couples. Gunner turned 39 and is just a little older then Joe. They use to work together when I first met Joe. Big thanks to Trav, Ginger & A. for babysitting. Gunner and Loretta!!
Waiting for our food........

The gang!

Gunner making his birthday wish........I wonder what he wished for??

Off to have some drinks after dinner........the old take a picture of yourselves trick.

Gunner's birthday present from his girlfriend, Ha ha!! Perfect for him though.

I don't know who the guy is trying to choke Gunner, but he's doing a pretty good job of it.
Loretta lighting up the cake, lots of candles and sparklers!!

The Cake!!!!

Needing lots of air to blow out all his candles.

And this was the end result, a lot of smoke, and everyone else trying to get all the candles out.

The famous shot between the legs trick.

Happy Birthday Gunner, next year you'll be half way to the grave!! Hee hee

Dinner w/Walter & Katie

My brother Walter and his wife Katie and their two girls, Emma & Bella where in town for Christmas and the New Year. They stopped by on New Years day for a visit and we ended up having some dinner (leftovers) and finished up the rice krispy treats.......Walter!! It was great to chat and watch all the cousins play before they had to head back to Colorado. Hope you guys are all settled back home and feeling rested. Traveling is hard, but you guys do it so well. Emma would not let me take a picture of her, she was kind of tired....so no smiles from the Emma girls.
Bella just loves the boys, and Austin is so much fun to love.

No smiles Emma!!!

Getting some yummy grub, Mac N' Cheese of course.

Austin loves him some Mc N Chesse!

The boys making their forts, always playing good guy bad guy.

Gavin picked out some jello at the store the other day and so the boys and I made some up for fun.
