Preschool Valentine's Party

I had the opportunity to help out in Gavin's preschool class for his Valentine's Party. I made some yummy red velvet cupcakes for all the kids. It was a lot of fun to see Gavin interact with his classmate friends and he was pretty excited to show mommy his school. It was only 2 and a half hours long but by the time class was done I was really wiped out. I don't know how those teachers do it everyday, kudos to them. Teacher Barbara and Teacher Grace do such a wonderful job. They had all the kids Valentine envelopes ready to go when they walked in, each child got to put all the Valentine's in each envelope.

Putting Valentine's in the envelopes.

Teacher Barbara and Teacher Grace.

Gavin and his friend Sophia........he talks about her the most of all the girls.

Putting up his name on the board before class starts.

Circle time, listen to some stories and do some Valentine games.

This is all the kids pairing up with a partner to do a fun dance.

Gavin doing a fun song, and really getting into it.

Helping out in front of the class, learning the word HEART!!

Time to do the Share Bag that Gavin took home last preschool day and brought back full of items to share. He brought a picture of his family and some fun Transformer wakie takies.

Getting ready to have cupcakes.......it was also a boys Birthday today too, so double cupcakes for the kids. One to eat and one to bring home.

And here is Gavin's loot, lots of suckers and some fun bubbles from his teachers.

He got to pick one candy to have after class, he chose the heart ring sucker. Happy Valentine's Day!!!!
