Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to my wonderful husband. Joe is such a great Dad, he does so much with the boys and really loves having boys!! So very grateful to have him in our family. Gavin running up the stairs with Daddy's present.....too fast for mommy to get a front picture of him.

Dinner with family

My brother Walter and his wife Katie and their two adorable girls came into town a few weeks ago for our nieces graduation. Before heading back to Colorado they stopped by for dinner and fun!! Katie made her home made spaghetti sauce and I made up some yummy brownies for dessert. The cousins had a blast playing together, it was a great night. Bella, such a character.

Time for a movie, the little ones went downstairs to watch Shrek. Garrett was wiped out having no nap that day and lots of excitement, he feel asleep pretty quickly but still had his gun with his finger on the trigger. Protecting his cousin Emma no doubt!!

On the Boat @ Hayden Lake

My brother and sis-in-law invited us to go out on their boat today and what a great sunny day it turned out to be. We started out on the boat and then headed to the shore for some lunch and swim time. The water is still pretty cold, but the kids didn't seem to care. Grandma and Grandpa Greene came out too and enjoyed some boat time and lunch. Grandpa did great for about 15minutes and said he was done, but he did it!! The boys stayed on shore after lunch while Ginger and I took mom/Grandma out for another boat ride, just a little bit faster this time. And Grandma got to drive the boat herself, she had a great time doing that and really surprised Ginger and I with how fast she went, Go Grandma!!! Gavin taking his turn at driving the boat.

Mommy and Garrett, last year this is all he would do, just sit on my lap the whole time. And of course he fell asleep, just too relaxing for him. He warms up a little later and does great in the boat without being on mommy's lap.

Gavin was missing having some toys to play with.....mommy didn't bring any. So Uncle Travis impervised and gave him his Ice Tea bottle and he loved it!!! Garrett in the back ground taking his first real dip in the water.

Danielle's Graduation 2010

We took a quick trip to Clarkston this weekend for my niece Danielle's HS Graduation. The boys were very excited, we had been talking about it for a few days. So on Friday morning when Gavin woke up he just looked at me and said "today we get to go on a trip" with big excited eyes. This was the first time we have ever taken the boys on a over night trip, I was a little nervous, mostly about forgetting something that we would need. We had a great time with our whole family. All my brothers and sisters came in and stayed in Clarkston for the event. My oldest sister Nadine is Danielle's mom and I haven't seen her in a long time, it was really great to have everyone there. We drove the quick two hour drive to Clarkston on Friday and checked into the Motel. The boys swam while we waited for the other out of towners to arrive, both my Brother Walter and Bro Nathan drove in from Utah. Friday night we got together for dinner and enjoyed a crazy dinner with all the grand kids/cousins. Saturday was Graduation day, we all were invited to Danielle's boyfriends parents house for a BBQ/Baby shower, Danielle is expecting a baby boy in October. Gavin and Garrett had a blast at the BBQ playing on the trampoline and hanging out with all the big kids. We did have one injury right before we left Gavin bumped his head on the coffee table, it swelled a little and was bleeding some. So it was time to head back to the Motel for some rest before the graduation. We decided to let the kids rest, so Joe stayed with the boys at the Motel while I went with all my siblings to the graduation. Danielle did great, I'm really proud of her, she has had a rough few months with school and work and not feeling great from her pregnancy. She did it though and with honors, great job girly. Sunday morning we woke up to rain once again, so we headed out of town early and decided to spend my brothers Birthday (Travis turned 34 on the 6th) in Spokane. The drive home seemed so much quicker then the drive there. We were home in no time, and back to laundry and dishes.....vacations can be nice not having to worry about those things. When we did get home we also noticed we had no internet, so I had a few (46) e-mails when we finally got our e-mail back and running on Monday. We are on our way!!!

I don't know if that's something to smile about.....but we had to catch every moment.
