Nathan & Leta's Visit (Two days worth)

My brother Nathan and family were in town this weekend for a visit. It was also Nathan's Birthday on the 10th, we celebrated all weekend. Friday night they came over to our place for dinner, hamburgers and hot dogs. Then Saturday we headed over to the Rigby's place for a big BBQ.......sorry about all the hot dogs and hamburgers Nathan. The croquet set got used a lot this weekend, everyone had a blast playing (boys got a little competitive, of course). We also had a few animals keeping us company, Tyler was nursing back to health a baby Buffalo. He's name is Billy and he's only 7 or 8 days old in these pictures. Todd saved him from being stomped on right after he was born. Tyler's doing a great job feeding him and taking care of him.

Sleepover w/ Cousin Austin

We had Austin over for a fun sleep over the other day. Two pretty hot days, so the boys enjoyed some outside water fun. Giving mom the peace signs!! I took the boys to Mission pool the second day, and we all had a blast swimming. We took a walk down to the park and by the river in the morning. Thanks for a fun couple days Austin.

Wrestling, boys always do that when they get together.

Austin right when he woke up, Garrett just jumped up on the couch and wanted to cuddle. Cute.

Watching some cartoons in the morning.

Making some pictures before we went to the pool.

Kite Flying

We took the boys to Plantes Ferry park the other day when it was really windy. Got out some brand new (two year old) kites that we've never gotten around to using. We had a blast, so much fun watching the boys faces when they were flying their kites "all by themselves". Daddy got the kites all ready and up in the air and then handed them off to the boys to keep up. We had a few run-away's but good old Dad ran after them, great workout. Gavin had the Transformers, Optimus Prime kite. Garrett had the Bumble Bee (Transformers). The Optimus Prime one ended up braking, so we headed to Target and got a couple more new ones for next time.

Both boys had suckers in their mouths!

Daddy and Gavin getting his up in the air.

Garrett's turn!

Bumble Bee!!!

Water fun at the Park

We headed to Discovery Park last week for some water fun with my friend Lisa and her son Connor. Garrett was all about the water, but Gavin wasn't feeling it that day, he just played in the other areas of the park. We packed a lunch and enjoyed some sun. Thanks for coming with us Lisa, we always enjoy your company. :)

Gavin "Peace"!!

The water was on some kind of timer, it went on for a few minutes then shut off for about 10minutes. In 10 minutes most of the kids would just give up on the water. I think some guys were trying to get it fixed when we were there?
