Valentine's 2011

We made some fun Valentine's sugar cookies the other day to start off our Valentine's week. The boys helped out so much this time, did almost all the cutting. Gavin loves to play in the flour and use the roller. Great job boys, thanks for helping mommy!
Picking our their cutters that they want to use.

Decorating their cookies so they can eat them.

Valentine's morning giving the boys their gift bags.

Suckers and all sorts of fun stuff.
Plant your own mini rose pots. Found these at Target this year, thought it would be fun to do with the boys and watch them grow.

Transformer books!!
Batman stickers for Garrett..........and a sleepy looking Daddy.

Gavin's preschool Valentine's Party. Andrew is the boy next to him, Gavin's best friend.

Mrs. DeCoff his teacher helping him cut out a heart shape in his bread for snack time.

Time to decorate it!

Andrew being silly.
Spreading his own cream cheese on his bread.

Macie, this little gal is so cute. Every time I come volunteer in Gavin's class she comes and says "hi Mrs. Keeney" she usually gives me a hug or holds my hand.
Showing mommy he can smile while drinking his juice.

A special Valentine's picture with Mom! So much fun joining my Gavin bear in his class.

Finally time to open their Valentine cards from their classmates.

Reading the names.....as much as he can make them out?

The final loot, lots of great cards and candies.

Danielle & Houston Visit/Superbowl

My niece Danielle and her husband Houston and their cute new baby boy Grant came up for a weekend visit. I enjoyed having them over so much, it was great to have some real quality baby time. They drove up on Saturday and stayed through Sunday's Superbowl party. We did some fun shopping just the girls on Saturday afternoon. And had a nice Lasagna dinner Saturday night, and afterwards had a blast playing the X-box Kinect. Houston is pretty competitive and enjoys the physical aspect of the Kinect. Sunday we planned a big Superbowl party with family so everyone could meet the new little guy. Joe, Houston and Gavin took a quick trip to Best Buy and Gamestop on Sunday and found a good deal on Kinect games. Superbowl was really fun, just so great to have everyone here together. (Missed the out-of-towners) Grant, this little boy is so cute, just so much fun to cuddle with.
All our cute boys together (2nd cousins).

Me and Grant getting some baby love.

Joe even took a turn holding him.

Danielle and Grant just before we went to the Mall. Danielle sure looks great.

Great Aunt Ginger ready for her baby time. We haven't seen him in months, he's changed so much. Grant is 3 1/2 months here.

Uncle Travis's turn, a little more unsure with the little ones.

Naked babies are the greatest!!

My boys did so well with little Grant. Gavin really wanted to play and interact with him. Of course they really liked playing with Houston (just a big kid).

Trying to get Danielle to play the Kinect......Houston giving me a mischievous smile.

Danielle didn't last long when she found out she was going to have to run.

Kitty Cat time, our Garfield cat loves babies.

Here comes the other kitty too.

Finally taking a nap, well over due.

Jump & Bounce

While Gavin was at preschool this Tuesday Garrett and I went to Jump & Bounce fun center in the Valley. A friend of mine invited us to go with her Co-op preschool class for a fun morning of jumping. Garrett hasn't been here in awhile so he was a little hesitant on going on the big slides. He did try once himself and then had me go the second time with him. We had fun, thanks for the invite Heather!

Ready......set......
.........go!!

Had more with the balls and toys then the slides.

Trying to make some baskets.

Look Mom, it's green!

Bad picture, but if you look close Garrett is making a kissing face! Cute.
