Garrett's Day out with Mom

So now that Gavin is in Preschool 4days a week Garrett and I have a little time on our hands. Gavin and daddy went to Build-a-Bear the other day and I felt bad that Garrett didn't get to do it.....and no pictures were taken. So I decided today to take Garrett to get his very own Build-a-Bear. We got there a little early before they opened so Garrett was trying to lift the gate by himself. He says "mommy it's too heavy" so cute.

Waiting...........

Choosing just the right one. He really wanted the same one as Gavin but I said he needed to choose something different.

We have a winner! A puppy of course, both boys really like puppy's.

Getting to press all the different animal sounds.

Time to help stuff the dogie bear!!

A picture with mom!

Pushing the pedal to fill dogie with stuffing.

He's ready for his heart.

Picking out just the right heart.

Giving the heart lots of loves, and kisses before it goes inside.

Putting the heart inside, soooo cute.

Time to give the dogie a bath and brush him off.......air comes out of the pretend foist.

All done mom!!
The nice lady let Garrett fill the stuffing machine, you just put it up to the whole and it sucks it in. He loved this.
Last but not least we printed out a Birth Certificate for Garrett's new puppy.

Some more fun at the Mall.

The old Ice Cream truck, he picks every time.

And some fun photos of Mommy and Garrett in the photo booth.

Home to show Gavin his new puppy, and to play together. Thanks for a great day together my little Garrett, mommy loves you.

Garrett just turned 3years old and Gavin is almost 5.

Soooo cute!

Our red head.

Chasing squirrel the whole time, Manito Park sure has a lot of them.. Thanks again Ginger.

Gavin's 1st day of Preschool

This was Gavin's 1st day of his second year of preschool. I got him enrolled in a Title 1 preschool program at Trentwood Elementary school just around the block from our house. He was very excited for his first day. I told him the night before that I had a special surprise for him. So of course he woke up Monday morning asking for his present, pretty smart kid. I got him a fun Transformers back pack that lights up. Waiting patiently for his present.
Opening his new back pack.

A little fuzzy, trying to do two things at once.

Crazy Gavin eyes for ya.

Trying it on.

We are all ready to go. My two cool dudes ready for school.

Garrett sure wanted to go with him, broke my heart. Next year buddy, you can go with big brother.

Daddy and his boys right inside the front doors.

Finding his cubbie to put his stuff in.

Finding the one with his name.
His Teacher Ms. DeCoff, starting him on a task.
Silly smile from my G. Bear.
And one last picture before we leave. Gavin did so great, no tears this year. Just a goodbye kiss and an "I love you mom" and a last glance from the door. So proud of my little man. Excited for Garrett to join the school fun next year.
