Skyfest Airshow 2010

We took the boys to the Skyfest Airshow this year at Fairchild Air force Base. It was about 90degrees, so we didn't stay too long. The Greene's joined us......or we joined them. I think they have gone every year that it's been on. Garrett was pretty hot and tired and didn't enjoy much of the time that we spent there. But Gavin really had fun and I think could have stayed longer. Next year will be better, another year older for Garrett. Quick story to add, as we were looking at a booth of kids toys, a lady was calling out to her boys and she was saying Gavin, Garrett. And I looked at her like no way, so I said to her "you have a Gavin and Garrett too". She was pretty surprised, she never meet any one else with the exact same names and the same spelling. Her boys are also two years apart, her oldest is Garrett and her youngest is Gavin. Small world. Thanks for a great time Greene's!! Waiting at the front entrance to be searched!! :)

Gavin driving the fire engine truck!!

The model tanks and planes. When I took these pictures the older gentlemen manning the booth asks "what are you going to do with those". I politely say, "I'm going to put them on my blog". He just kind of looked at me like, what's that? Funny.

Gavin all ready to head into the obstacle course. He was pretty excited to do this. Gavin really had fun and I wish we could have stayed longer. Garrett said he wanted to go home about 2minutes in..........so it was a long two hours that we did stay.

Garrett one of the times he wasn't crying.

The climbing wall. Gavin loved this whole thing.

Wow, Gavin that's really high.

He went through twice.

This was the free fall trick......if you look close there is a small plane right above the smoke. I guess she is almost 60years old and flies planes.

Garrett and Daddy, just taking a break.

Austin, Travis and Gavin taking in the show.

The Wells Fargo Carriage. Garrett actually liked this part.

Hayden Days on the boat

We headed to Hayden Idaho for their Hayden days, this was the first year we attended. They had a lot of fun games for the kids. They had a small petting farm with a few animals and some camels for camel rides. The boys really wanted to do the dunk tank so we got them some tickets and they tried it out. It was pretty hot this day so we also got to have some time on the boat with my brother and sis-in-law. Lots of fun, thanks for letting us hang out with ya. This guy really liked Joe.

A few cute dogs at the park who just loved to be pet.

(Bad picture) But this is Austin & Travis looking at some goods. They had a few booths of items to buy.

The boys all liked playing on the Park equipment the best.

Gavin's letting you know that.....that's Austin hiding from Margo's camera.

Garrett trying out the dunk tank, doing such a great job.

Gavin's turn to try and dunk the boy.

Austin in the jumping house.

Great looking couple, Travis & Ginger actually posing for a picture. Thanks guys.

The whole gang.

Boat time!!!!!

Yep, that's me in the water. So hot this day it was time to get in. Travis is on the left and Austin on the right. The water was still a bit cold, but once I got in I stayed in for awhile. Once I got out the tips of my fingers and toes were numb!! Yikes.

Garrett sees mommy in the water and wants to join me. Aunt Ginger helped him get into his swim trunks and life jacket.

Uncle Travis helping with Garrett into the water..........

and this is Garrett heading right back up the ladder after his felt how cold the water was, too cute.
Gavin just chilling!!!!
A duck just came right up to the boat while we were eating our lunch, so we feed him some bread. He loved that circled the boat a few times looking for more.

Silly Boys

A friend of Joe's that he works with gave the boys this Transformers Hat the other day. They just love it, took turns trying it on. It is reversible, one side is Autobots and the other is Decepticons. Some really cute pictures of our boys. Growing up way too fast.

I love this one of Garrett closing his eyes and smiling so big. And what a great smile on Gavin.

Having some fun under the stairs with pillow and blankets.

Pretending they are asleep.
