Pool Party Playdate

The boys and I had so much fun at a friends house for a pool party. The weather was hot, hot, hot, but we all still had a blast. We were there for about 3hours and it took Gavin 2 1/2hours to warm up to the idea that he wanted to swim. So has everyone was leaving Gavin was just getting into the pool. This is Marissa, my friend Kim's sister from my Mommy&Me group, she was helping with some of the little kids in the pool. Gavin had so much fun, thank you so much Kim for hosting such a great playdate. Garrett even stayed happy for most of the time we were there and did some swimming of his own.

Grandma's House

We had a small picnic at Grandma & Grandpa's house on Saturday. My Aunt Trina is in town for a visit and staying with my Mom. So we (the boys and I) headed over there to have some dinner and enjoy some family time. My niece Danielle and her boyfriend Houston were in Spokane as well, traveling from Clarkston for a day visit. Danielle wanted to introduce Houston to the family, he seems like I really nice guy. She refused to take off her shades for the picture, silly girl.
This is Houston's little truck, so small I had to take a pic of it.

The boys and I trying to snap a quick picture before Garrett ran away. Pretty hot that day, as you can see from Garrett's face, those red heads get hot quick.

Garrett in his cool dude shades!!!

Trip to Seattle

Joe took a quick trip to Seattle this last weekend, he only took scenic pictures. He drove his Dad to the Hospital there to have some tests ran. Joe's dad had a liver transplant many years ago but still needs medication and monitoring to make sure everything is well. They drove down on Friday morning and returned Saturday afternoon. I stayed home with the boys, and enjoyed a fun time at Grandma's house on Saturday.

Wonderland Fun Center

Our friends Travis & Heather invited us to their son's 3rd Birthday Party at Wonderland. We had a blast, we drove go-carts with the boys in the passengar seats. We played lots of games and had yummy pizza & cake, what more can you ask for. Happy 4th of July, and Happy Birthday Mason!!!! Birthday boy Mason giving me a great smile.

Garrett driving a race car.

Daddy says, shot 'em Gavin. Garrett can barely hold up the gun.

Heather getting down with the guitar hero. Great picture!!!

Of course we had our fare share of fighting over rides.

Great smile from Garrett riding the caurosel. They rode this the most, loved it!!

Let's dig in, yummy chocolate cake.

Garrett's 1st Haircut

My baby got his 1st haircut, so sad, he's officially a little man now. He, (as you can see) was not very happy, cried through the whole thing. We went to the Hair Zoo in Post Falls, which is where we took Gavin for his 1st haircut. They do up a cute certificate with the date and who styled his hair, and then attach a lock of hair. Well worth the $15 we paid for it. Putting on the cape, he's wondering what am I doing here and who is this lady with the scissors?
First snip of the red hair, hopefully it will be over soon.
This is torture, isn't this illegal in this country.

Getting close to the end now, I know it!

Crazy smile from Daddy.

It's over!!!!!!! Get me out of here.

One quick pose with Mommy, love you little man.

Of course that's got to be worth a shake and fries from Mcd's right??

Some better shots of his hair once we got home.

That wasn't so bad, and look how handsome I look.

Transformers Movie

Joe and I took Gavin to see the new Transformers this week. He was so excited, brought his McDonald's bumblebee toy and played the music on it throughout the movie. And he wore his new Optimus Prime shoes he got from his cousin Austin and Aunt Ginger. So when we saw a Transformers T-shirt the next day, we had to get it. These are some fun pictures of him playing with our cat in his new shirt.
